Master's thesis now available!

Last summer, I had the pleasure of defending my Master’s degree thesis titled “Agroforestry systems as an alternative for the restoration of the biological potential of Amazonian soils”. Amazon agroforests restored soil multifunctionality, particularly by increasing carbon inputs to the 0-10 cm soil layer. This effect was depth-dependent, with older agroforest systems restoring carbon and microbial activity in deeper layers. Fungi were the most responsive microbial community, especially in the topsoil and in older systems.
